The original bathroom layout featured a partial wall dividing the “his and her” sinks. By removing that wall, we created a more open and cohesive space that feels larger and brighter. In its place, we installed a large custom double vanity, perfectly flanked by tall linen storage stacks on each side. The added cabinetry not only provides ample storage but also delivers a beautiful, built-in look that enhances the room’s symmetry.

Smarter Space with Pocket Doors

The existing layout had multiple doors—one to the bathroom, another to the water closet, and a third for the closet—all competing for space. To streamline traffic flow, we replaced the hinged doors with sleek pocket doors. This small change made a big difference, maximizing floor space and improving accessibility while maintaining privacy where needed.

Vintage Details with Modern Functionality

The homeowners wanted their bathroom to reflect their love of vintage-inspired design, so we incorporated classic touches through the tile selections. Penny tile was used on the shower floor and in the shower niche, giving the space a timeless character and subtle texture. The rest of the finishes were chosen to balance old-world charm with contemporary comfort—creating a bathroom that feels both stylish and enduring.
