A Place for Rest, Renewal & Community: Wings of Eagles Ranch Cabin Makeover
Sometimes the most meaningful projects aren't about transforming a home. They're about creating a place where people can find rest, connection, and a little bit of joy.
This Thursday, the women of Turner Design Build had the opportunity to be part of something special at Wings of Eagles Ranch in Concord, NC. Through a community initiative organized by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), five retreat cabins at the ranch received a beautiful interior transformation, thanks to the generosity and creativity of five talented local designers.
But the real story isn't about the design. It's about the organization behind these cabins and the families they serve.
A Mission Worth Celebrating
Wings of Eagles Ranch is a special place in our community, providing meaningful opportunities and support for individuals with special needs and their families. Through programs, therapeutic riding, camps, and community activities, the ranch creates an environment where individuals can grow, connect, and experience the joy of being part of something bigger.
The addition of five retreat cabins creates even more opportunities for families and groups to step away from the demands of everyday life and enjoy time together in a peaceful setting.
Each cabin features two bedrooms, one and a half baths, and accessible design features, all surrounded by the beautiful wooded property. These spaces are designed to offer comfort, connection, and a place to recharge.

Five Designers. Five Unique Cabins. One Wonderful Cause.
NARI brought together five designers, each paired with a different cabin and tasked with transforming its interior. The designers generously donated their time, creativity, and resources to bring these spaces to life.
Our team was paired with Misty Molloy of CoCreative Interiors, and if you're familiar with her work, you know she isn't afraid of color and personality!
Known for her anti-gray approach, Misty delivered a fun, playful, and thoughtfully layered retreat space. It was such a treat to see her vision come together and watch each of the five cabins take on its own personality.
The result is a collection of welcoming spaces that feel anything but ordinary.
A Little Help from the Turner Design Build Team
The ladies of Turner Design Build were happy to lend a hand on installation day. Our contribution was certainly more behind-the-scenes than glamorous... think scrubbing paint off floors and windows, unboxing decorative accessories, cleaning porches and making beds. Regardless, it was wonderful to be included and to see the designers' hard work come together.
Sometimes showing up and being part of the team is what matters most.
We're grateful for the opportunity to have been included in an effort that brought so many talented people together for a purpose that extends well beyond the remodeling industry.
More Than Remodeling: The Heart of NARI
One of the things we appreciate about being part of NARI is that the organization recognizes the importance of giving back to the communities where we live and work.
The remodeling industry is full of talented designers, builders, suppliers, and tradespeople. When those people come together and share their time, skills, and resources, the impact can be much bigger than any individual project.
This cabin makeover is a wonderful example of what can happen when an industry comes together for a good cause. We're proud to be part of an organization that makes community involvement a priority.

A Community That Shows Up
At Turner Design Build, we're fortunate to work in an industry filled with creative, generous people. Opportunities like this remind us that what we do can extend beyond the walls of the homes we remodel.
We're thankful to Wings of Eagles Ranch for the work they do for local families, to the designers and volunteers who made these cabins possible, and to NARI for bringing everyone together.
We may have only scrubbed a few floors and made a few beds, but we're leaving with a whole lot of appreciation for the people and purpose behind this project.
That's something worth celebrating.
